A genuine attempt but not scientific

What did you like best about You Were Not Born to Suffer? What did you like least?

A very positive message about love and honesty. draws on some good quotes.
Some sweeping claims that are not backed with evidence.
This is a book you have to take on faith.

What was most disappointing about Blake Bauer’s story?

It was rather vague about how to achieve his proposed loving state and following his advice could cause personal hardship on many levels.

Did Blake Bauer do a good job differentiating each of the characters? How?

If this book were a film would you go see it?

Essential for every human!

You don't actually need to think that you are "suffering" to benefit from the immense wisdom in this book. It is a reminder to make sure you are living your life's purpose and draws from many sources, studies and inspirations so that it feels neither religious nor "new age" nor "self help" in genre, just true. Now I'm going to listen to it again from the beginning.

reflective and an eye-opener

Blake reflection of the things he found on happiness will help you to see life, in both its macro and micro sense, a better place to be. Listening to this book is therapeutic. He also has done a great job narrating it.

We can all gain from the questions alone

Blake D Bauer has searched and found what it is to be a complete human being and in that much of what he shares is helpful whether you are really suffering or maybe just lightly living in fear. I will be keeping this book and listening to it again and again until I can feel true inside myself. Thank you Blake

Thought Provoking

Although I don't necessarily agree with everything in this book, there is a lot of truth here and I can see how this book will help a lot of people to feel better about themselves and lead happier and more fulfilled lives.
