Publisher's Summary

After Bud's Tavern burnt down in 2005, I walked by there right after it happened and took a quick peek inside. Whereas most folks who hadn't been a regular patron - that is, would have seen nothing more than a charred, burnt-out mess that needed demolished as soon as possible - I, myself, without even closing my eyes, saw something totally different.

I could see all my old friends - some have sadly passed away since then - sitting at the bar, joking and laughing. I could see Missy and Cindy pouring beers and taking food orders, all smiles as usual, no matter how busy they were.

I could taste the ice-cold beer, smell the chicken frying in the kitchen, and I could see myself standing outside, peering in and wishing I could do it all over again.

Luckily, we can - in our own memories. In this book are some of my own special memories that I'd like to share with you. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed sharing them with you.
