Publisher's Summary

Growing up in a coven with only one other shifter around doesn’t allow Arik much of an opportunity to find his mate, and he doesn’t know when or where he’ll find him. When dreams about his mate start interrupting his sleep, he’s content to wait for them to find each other. That is, until he dreams that his mate is in danger.

Alpha War has all but given up on ever finding his true mate. He’s looked for centuries, but so far, no luck. Then when his den starts being attacked by the local coven, all thoughts of finding his mate leave his mind. He only wants to protect his den members like any alpha would.

When an altercation with the coven turns deadly, the last thing War expects is for his mate to appear out of thin air, literally. Arik knew his mate was in trouble, so he got his twin to teleport the two of them to the place he’d been dreaming about.

War is happy to have found his mate, but can he accept a union with another coven? He already has enough witch problems; will a coven of warlocks be any different? But can he really say no to his fated mate? Is Arik willing to leave his peaceful coven for a den full of chaos?

With problems lurking, babies coming, and warlocks “poofing” in and out at odd times, will War and Arik ever find time alone for sexy times?

War’s Mate book one in the Honey Creek Den Series. Each book contains a fated mate pair, mpreg, lots and lots of knotting during "growly" sexy times, babies, no cheating, and a HEA.

These bears will do anything their mates ask, just listen and see. The Honey Creek Den Series is meant to be enjoyed in order even though each audiobook focuses on a different couple. This audiobook is intended for adults only as these shifters tend to get "growly" and don’t watch their language.

Loved hearing Honey Creek come to life

Taylor writes an amazing story. Kenneth Obi brings them to life. Together, magic happens! deep rumbly alphas, soft beautiful omegas and a sexy old school warlock make Wars Mate an enjoyable listen. Bring on the next adventure!

Ready For Book 2.🙂

This is a nice beginning to a new shifter /mprg series. I'm impressed with the authors writing of this book. Also, I'm eager to find out how each shifter finds their mates or, the one. Also, how papa will handle THE WITCH. The narrator did a nice job with the characters. I'm looking forward to book 2 and the complete series coming to adubile. The only reason I gave 4☆s is that I wished it was longer.☺I recommend this book!🙂

Story Has it All: Shifters, Warlocks, & Witches

The story begins with the world building of a den of shifter bears. An unexpected and unprovoked attack on the den by an angry witch brings the reclusive bears into contact with warlocks and the Alpha's fated mate.

Learning to interact with other people, and finding a mate makes for an enjoyable story. The story of the Alpha and his mate is complete, but the story of the den is not. I'd consider this a "To Be Continued" tale .

Narrator Kenneth Obi gets to stretch his talents from gruff and growly alphas to smooth toned warlocks, and higher pitched omegas. He captured them all.

loved the book

I loved the way the narrators voice changed with each person in the book. I loved the story line and laughed so hard when War was poofed from the room when he met his mate for the first time. I can't wait to dive in and listen to the other ones.

good idea

If you like fated mates finding each other and just having sex this is your kind of story. This is a new to me author and I'm hoping the next book will have some kind of other plot.
Narrator Kenneth Obi does a wonderful job.

Finding the one

Sweet loving and heat all the way. Eric is having dreams that his mate is in trouble convincing his twin brother to poof him to his mate finds that his mate is a bear shifter. Warren comes back from fighting with the local witches then goes all alpha on Eric. With a witch hurting and killing shifters and all of them finding their one it makes for an interesting fight.

Sweet little love story

Short sweet love story with shifters and mpreg. Lot of hot scenes. I would liked the story to have some drama. This was an ok book, but I'm not going to continue with this series. Loved the narration though!

ended abruptly

Opening chapter suggested MM shifter romance with some mild peril.
Author concentrated on the romance and it seems to me, paid little attention the danger from the aggressors.
Was not convinced by Kenneth Obi's Alpha Voice.
