The Movie really does create a wonderful portrayal of the characters, and the passion for the story is expressed so well by this reading. You really can hear the passion Rob Reiner has for these characters, and tells the story brilliantly. Very much worth listening to.

It's a special book, it's got fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... it's a wonderful story!!

listening to the princess bride is like listening to the screenplay of the movie read by the director himself - or maybe watching the princess bride is a very faithful interpretation of the book. Either way, if you love one, you'll love the other.
