فاجتمع المغامرون الثلاثة فورًا عند سماعهم كلمات والدهم الأخيرة، حيث كان الخبر عن اختطاف ثريٍّ مصري يدعى "مجيد الشركسي" وزوجته وسائق سيارته في باريس..

وقد عثرت الشرطة على سيارته في طريقٍ فرعي خارج باريس ووجدوا نظارته الطبية مهشمة وملقاة على أرضية مقعدها...

كما يقول الخبر أنّهم عثروا على حبّات صغيرة من العاج الأبيض على المقعد الخلفي للسيارة وقد تعرَّف عليها شقيق زوجة الثري فقد كانت من عقدٍ أهداه هو لشقيقته..

كما تبينَّ في نهاية الخبر أنّ العصابة تطالب بفدية كبيرة مقابل إطلاق سراحهم فقد كان الشركسي يملك مجموعةً من السجاد الإيراني النادر تضمُّ سجادةً صغيرة خضراء لا تقدّر بثمن!!

كيف سيصل المغامرون الأربعة للخوض في هذا اللغز الذي يبعد عنهم آلاف الكيلومترات ويفصل بينهم وبينه مدنٌ وبحار؟
