Publisher's Summary

It finally happened. Commander Thrax Ti Ix created a hyper-spatial tube for the Swarm Imperium. Across thousands of light-years, a vast armada of warships is heading for Earth to burn the homeworld down to its bedrock as the Swarm begins its genocidal campaign against the human race.

No one - not the New Men, the Spacers, the Wahhabi Caliphate, or Star Watch - has faced such staggering odds. Alone or united, it makes no difference.

Captain Maddox has a last-ditch plan. He's returning to the null region of last voyage to grab the ancient Destroyers hidden there. But an immortal entity of evil cunning haunts the vessels. If it escapes its prison...Maddox will have made things infinitely worse.

This time, mankind needs a miracle.

The Lost Earth is the seventh book in the Lost Starship series.

Another great edition to the series

A great wrap up in the first three quarters but the finale was just abrupt and not satisfying at all. I’m sure there may be more but really. I just killed a billion people and whipped out two enemies all in 20 pages. But still a great series.

Fun listen as long as you value story over charac.

I like where Heppner goes with the story lines in the series. However, the characters are so inconsistent and the dialog do forced it can be challenging to enjoy the whole experience.

Ian Fleming

The series has proved to enjoyable, but each book seems to be more and more like another James Bond movie. The differences though are what keeps me reading. His characters evolve and have relationships with other characters and these relationships (if somewhat predictable) do evolve with the story. I'll continue to read this series as it continues to stir my own creative juices.

Good, if a little slow

A little slow getting into this one. Whether this has the staying power to go on much longer is another question.

Narration, as always with Mark Boyett, was very good and kep the book going.

Good, though physic and gods introduced

Good final battle and fine narration, though baddies not mentioned upto now appear. Physic powers, Ghosts and God bothering, not needed in the past six books now play a part in the story.
