Live in a clean and clutter-free home forever with the life-changing KonMari Method - now a multi-million copy international best seller.

Transform your home into a permanently clear and clutter-free space with the incredible KonMari Method. Japan's expert declutterer and professional cleaner Marie Kondo will help you tidy your rooms once and for all with her inspirational step-by-step method.

The key to successful tidying is to tackle your home in the correct order, to keep only the things you really love and to do it all at once - and quickly. After that for the rest of your life you need only to choose what to keep and what to discard.

The KonMari Method will not just transform your space. Once you have your house in order, you will find that your whole life will change. You can feel more confident, you can become more successful, and you can have the energy and motivation to create the life you want. You will also have the courage to move on from the negative aspects of your life: you can recognise and finish a bad relationship; you can stop feeling anxious; you can finally lose weight.

Marie Kondo's method is based on a 'once cleaned, never messy again' approach. If you think that such a thing is impossible, then you should definitely listen to this compelling audiobook.

Insightful and funny

More than just a wacky Japanese neat freak, Kondo describes a clear and thoroughly researched method for bringing order (and thus peace, well being and even personal growth) into one's life with humourous anecdotes and humble wisdom.

Peer pressured but worth it

I originally bought this title as friends and society said I needed to read it. I orginally thought "does it spark joy" as being lame and really wasn't interested, but its more a feeling that doesnt translate from Japanese to English well. I was wanting to declutter and pair down my belongings which seemed unobtainable as I have so much stuff. That is slowing changing since I listened to this book. Since then I have listened to it 4 more time. She has very clear instruction and it has worked for me.
Marie Kondo helps you to loose the guilty feeling of discarding, the feeling of regret simply is not there. The things I have rid myself of so far have not been missed. It has been about 3 months and I am still discarding. Life does get in the way but I haven't felt disheartened, as I know I'll get there in the end.
Lucy Scott is a wonderful narrator and that lends itself to being be listened to. I don't belive it would have worked without her as she gives it life. The way it was written almost feels as if I were having a conversation with Konmarie herself over tea. I have also read the 2nd book and would drop everything to read more. The translator has done very well.
Thankyou

Excellent book

Nicely narrated and simple but efficient way to tide up your house for good. You can also apply same principles to any tidying up as computer files, photos etc. Thank you Marie Kondo 💕

Wonderful

I loved it. some of her words really touched my heart and the narrator couldn't have been more perfect in softly delivering the message.
As someone who struggles with organising and admittedly has too much stuff, this was a great book which I suspect I will come back to few more times.
