41 chapters of love triangles set against Nazi occupied France that bounds along at a respectable pace. The adventure and intrigue play second fiddles to the game of romantic Triominos that takes the lead, but it's not so far in the background as to feel absent.

I cannot sop thinking about this book and its sequel, I wish there was more books like these two so real, so interesting with the perfect amount of romance.

The stories of this era are etched with pain, terror, heroism and the resilience of ordinary people who somehow sometimes survive. This book portrays well all of the above and of course something a little extra, a fantastic love story. So well written and excellent narration. Almost impossible to stop listening! I look forward to the sequel.
