Ray Porter and JN Chaney!

Wow! This was so much fun! As a huge fan of 80s action movies, this book hit all the right notes. Add to that the stellar narration from one of my favorite actors in the business and you’ve got an amazing book. I’ve read all of JN Chaney’s books as well and this is an exceptional entry in his library. I can’t wait for the sequel!

Loved it

Honestly one of my favorite books now.
Thank you Ray Porter for the wonderous voice to the characters, especially brought Cain to life for me.
Finished it all in one sitting, and I don't regret it in the slightest. As it was a laugh from start to finish. Though now I wait for the next book.
(And pray Ray voices the characters once again)

Yaaaaawwwnn.

Struggled with finishing this book. I really like RP and he is a talented actor and narrator. But seems like last sci fi books I got with him as narrator, the main character style never changes and sounds the same and this book seemed to just drag on and on.

If your new to Ray Porter narration or the Sci Fi category give it a try.

Entertaining, but mostly "meh"

I can't say specifically what's lacking here, but it's just not very compelling. The world building is pretty good outside of the central action, but the action itself feels rushed and lacks a strong sense of place. I did enjoy it, and by the end I was considering checking out the sequel, but I just don't know. Overall, it's just alright (though Ray Porter is, as always, great).

Ray Porter is Awesome.

Never a dull moment. Reaper Kane is a bad to the cybernetic bone. Grear listen.

Great Performance and Non-Stop Action

Very fast paced story in the renegade-verse and a wonderful performance by Ray Porter that perfectly captures the smart-ass badass of JN Chaney. Can’t wait for the next one so long as it isn’t the same basic plot as Renegade Star.

Epic

Epic space-action meets Rambo. It would be a disservice to the human-race if this doesn't turn into a series and a movie franchise!

If you're on the fence, just buy it. Ray Porter could read the phone-book and make it seem interesting, so you really have nothing to lose...
