Can't wait for book four.

I’ve enjoyed all three so far, with this being my favorite. Really looking forward to book four. Ray Porter was amazing as usual.

I enjoyed the whole thing, but the last book was a nice finish. Worth the credits.

Long Wait but worth it

I waited a long while for book 3 and as always Ray Porter does a fantastic job with voicing Halek Cain and all the other characters in The Last Reaper series. He really captures Hal and X-37's moods as they talk be it sarcasm, annoyance, or anger, it really gets you laughing at the situation in the story.

Good but not JN's best

I had a lot of fun with this book and was able to finish it all the way through. If you like the series so far, you'll like this one. The narrator is great as well, though his pronunciation of "harassed" is noticeably strange. The narrator has a great range and brings all these characters to life. My main issues are with the way the story unfolds, as it feels like a first or second draft. Most readers probably won't notice, but sometimes the characters make choices that seem to prioritize the outcome of the story rather than their own unique wants and needs. There is one character in particular who behaves incredibly suspiciously and even seems to nearly kill another important character, but the main character is more trusting and forgiving with him than I felt would be natural, and no real reason was given. All of the characters seem to have the attention span of a goldfish. The brutal killing of another person is nothing more than a breezy, 2 second argument with a teenager in the next breath before the teenager lets it go and laughs about it. A memorable example of the somewhat rushed feeling of this book is a time when someone tells the MC he needs to rest and he agrees and it sounds like he's going to go and sleep, but then without explanation he invites another character to work out with him. He eventually did go to sleep but the lack of explanation made it a bit of a jarring decision. The MC, supposedly a highly intelligent super-soldier, makes some incredibly dumb decisions in this story. But even feeling rushed, this book is like a fun, mindless action movie. If you're a JN Chaney fan, don't stray away. None of the above issues made me angry or annoyed, they're simply the reason this is a decent book and not a great piece of literature. One part that did make me a bit confused was when the narrator/MC described a difficult situation as being as hard as "trying to get a high-interest loan" Wouldn't it be more difficult to get a low-interest loan?

Best so far. RELEASE THEM ALL ALREADY.

I'm gonna make this really simple. If you bought the first book and the second book already your gonna buy this one too. Now please help me annoy the hell out of whoever I need to so they get all the books released with the same crew that helped make the first three.

Outstanding

The fourth audio book couldn't come faster. I hope the wait is over soon. Great series.
