This is great -first of 4 books-good well written
a little short at the end but still well written
then two narrators only come into this book at the last chapter when Adam reads the last one
really like the depth of characters and the story
links to the all 4 books so i guess I will be listening to them all
I am happy with credit spent

This book gave me so much anxiety but I freaking loved the story and characters. The world building was great and very much looking forward to reading/listening to the next books.

The story felt rushed and inauthentic. I feel it could have easily been a much longer book with more focus on character building and world building. I won't be finishing this series.

The narrators were great but that is about all I enjoyed.

main character is the biggest ‘not like other girls’ pick me who has ever lived. i don’t even know why i listened to it as long as i did. writing is godawful, and the plot is super rushed - it just skims over what should be major plot points and then we get to make up that time listening to arwen go ON AND ON AND ON AND ON about how she’s just not interested in girly things, she wants to go hUnTiNg and looking down on pretty much every female character. the voice actor gave all of said female characters very infantilised and ‘girlish’ voices which just made it even worse. the premise was interesting to me, but the execution was heinous.
