This series is a rare find where the plot and
character growth goes from strength to strength as the books go on. Great fun with a whole heap of deus ex mechina that somehow makes it even better. As always Rupert Degas is unreal.

Easily one of my all time favourite readers and Chris wooding has a great storyteller style. Funny and likeable characters continue to evolve and the pace of the action is great

A great story in a great series - the story bounds along at a fast pace, you get to know each of the main characters and their backgrounds as they evolve and grow. The narration is amazing. All around excellent.
