But Rachel's always been something of a daredevil. Story
There's something pretty weird going on in the woods behind Cassie's house, the place where Ax and Tobias call home. It seems the Yeerks have figured out one very important fact: Andalites cannot survive without a feeding ground. Visser Three knows the "Andalite bandits" don't feed where he does, so there can only be one other place. Now the Animorphs have to figure out a way to stop a bogus logging operation. Because if Visser Three finds Ax in the woods, nothing will stop him from finding the Animorphs.

But then Marco finds out Erek's been hanging with some of the kids at the Sharing, and he starts to think that something just a little weird is going on. So Marco, Jake, and Ax decide to morph and check old Erek out. Just to see if he's been infested with a Yeerk. The good news is that Erek's not a human-Controller. The bad news is that Erek's not even human.

And it could mean the difference between living the rest of his life as a hawk...and being human.

15 years too late
I should have read these so long ago. I’m floored at how amazing this book is. When coming into YA I expect a certain amount of hand holding and corniness, but this book pulls no punches. It’s got amazing sci-fi elements and isn’t afraid to explore the very real consequences of war and death. 100% recommend for all ages.

Bunch’a idiot teenagers with a death wish.
I’ve been waiting for these to come out on Audible since the moment I started using it. And now finally they’re here! Narration and quality is great too.
Animorphs is an amazing book series that’s part Animal Planet, part Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and part something else. Reading these as an adult, you realize how dark the series actually is. This seems like a light hearted action adventure sci-fi written for preteens, but it gets much deeper than that.
I highly recommend this to adults, just as mush as to 12 year olds. The series as a whole has a depth to it that surpasses the average “us against them” stereotype found in most stories. When I read them as a child, they taught me that there is no one side to anything; everyone has a backstory, even those you consider your enemy. It also taught me that war is not a romantic epic where everyone gets medals at the end. War is ugly, and innocent people are affected no matter what.
So anyway, I could go on for a long time but I’ll try to end here. Audible, PLEASE CONTINUE RELEASING THESE! I’ll spend good money on all of em. 🤑

Nostalgia, thy name is Animorphs
This was my favorite book series when i was in middle school, i have almost the complete series! I was so happy when i downloaded and listened to the book to discover that not only does the writing hold up for an older audience, but the narrator does a fantastic job of voice acting! Credits well spent, and I look foreword to downloading the whole series as it comes out!

Grew up with this series - did not disappoint!
I grew up reading the Animorph series, and I couldn't resist this book when it came out. It did not disappoint.! MacLeod Andrews is one of my favorite narrator/performers, and he did a wonderful job bringing this first book to life. I will most likely move slowly through the rest of the series, $10 per book is a little steep for a 3 hour book.

Please record the entire series!
This was absolutely a blast from start to finish. I read all of these many moons ago and now I have children and they both love listening to them. The performance was strong and easy to listen to. Maybe he could be a tiny bit brighter (tone) but I'm not going to knock him down for that. The real question is when do they record the first megamorphs book.

I read through half the Animorph books in my teen years, by far one of the best set of books ever! So glad they’re bringing them to audible.
