Publisher's Summary

Not believing, but only experiencing, says Osho in this inspiring series of talks, is a way of finding truth and meaning. While Nietzsche's declaration that "God is dead, therefore man is free" was an incredible step in understanding, he argues, it is in itself a negative solution and does not bring freedom. Simply removing God is not enough. Osho is no atheist by far and not in favor of any "anti-believe" system either.

"It is meditation that fulfills your inner being and takes away the vacuum that used to be filled by a great lie, God."

In The God Conspiracy, Osho offers a solution beyond Nietzsche - meditation, a direct connection with existence itself. Here, he shows how Zen and meditation allow us to find meaning and significance, creativity, receptivity, and a path to freedom. Zen has no God, but it has a tremendous power to transform our consciousness, to bring so much awareness that committing evil becomes inconceivable.

In this series of talks, one of the very last talks in Osho's life, he sums up the message of his life and argues persuasively that transformation cannot be imposed, but must come from one's innermost being and understanding. With the meditations at the end of each talk, into which Osho guides his audience, the listeners are given exquisite experience of meditation, of a let-go and a rebirth.

MY FAVORITE!

Contains amazingly bad ass Zen stories featuring the one and only Sekito Stonehead! Sekito may be the only other Master to give less fucks about your feelings than Master OSHO. Aside from the wonderful Sekito stories, OSHO is really bringing it with the jokes on this occasion. Best jokes of all the audiobooks combined, I would say. ENJOY!
