The book started reasonably well, but once the story moved into the London council housing estate, I found the narration to be overacted and distracting. As a result, it just wasn’t my type of book. I dislike leaving negative reviews, and this is, of course, only my personal opinion, but the storyline felt as though it circled around without much progression. Combined with the heavily accented narration, this ultimately led to me not finishing the book.
