The Number One Best Seller Now in Audio for the First Time

Dr. Michael Mosley, author of the bestselling 5:2 Fast Diet, reveals a game-changing approach to one of the greatest silent epidemics of our time - raised blood sugar levels.

Our modern diet, high in sugar and easily digestible carbohydrates, is not only making us fat, but is putting us at risk of type 2 diabetes, strokes, dementia, cancer and a lifetime on medication. Close to a quarter of adults in Australia and New Zealand now have raised blood sugar levels or are at risk of developing diabetes - and most don’t know it.

In this timely book, Dr. Mosley explains why we pile on dangerous abdominal fat and shows us how to shed it, fast. He demolishes common myths, such as the claim that steady weight loss is always better than rapid weight loss and that those who lose weight rapidly will inevitably put it back on.

This is a book not just for those at highest risk but for anyone who has struggled with their weight and wants to regain control of their health. www.thebloodsugardiet.com

This program does work

I have read and used the Blood Sugar Diet by Michael Mosley before and it works. I used the 5-2 program as 800 cal daily wasn't enough fore me. I still lost 8 kg in 8 weeks. I found the meal recipes excellent and used the 100 cal blue berry shake for breakfast if I was going out for lunch or dinner. The key for me was recording everything I ate with Cals and totalling daily which MM suggests. I kept pre cut carrot & celery in the fridge and humus. If I was hungry between meals I would have a glass of water. If still hungry after 20 min I had carrot & celery sticks. If still hungry I would have half a small apples. After 2 weeks I didn't need anything between meals and my meals were more veggies. I also use an app called walk for weight loss which starts at the level you choose and has bursts of fast walking and encouraging salutations during the walks. I was so impressed with the 8WBSD program that I bought it as an Audible book. This time I will continue after the eight week program as a lifestyle.

Very Interested

The book makes sense and is presented in a way that encourages the reader but is balanced and realistic.
