Simple, powerful information

I'm an amateur athlete - weekend warrior category for the most part. Exercise 4-5 times a week across weight training, field hockey mountain biking, road cycling and occasional ultra endurance bike packing racing.
My approach particularly for intensive hockey games , enduro racing and then ultra endurance racing, has been guess work based on various material I've read and trial and error. After listening to Darryl's insights I'm excited to now apply the simple formulas to my own unique physiology, and take the guess work out of that critical factor that any athlete must deal with - nutrition. Thank you Darryl for sharing your life's work for us pros and plebs (that's me!) to benefit from.

Great book. Very important info for all athletes.

As a professional athlete I struggled to find clear information about my hydration and fuel when competing. This book outlines a simple approach to nutrition that works. Thanks Darryl for taking the time to put this out so everyone can be better. 👍

A must read for every athlete

Darryl gives exceptional insight into the requirements of the body that are seemingly simple yet required to understand performance and recovery in a very complicated world of available nutrition and drink supplements. He will help the athlete to understand the differences in ‘sports’ drinks and nutrition that may potentially hinder maximal performance and the simplicity of those that may maximise the science of what goes out must come back in. A reference for every athlete at all levels.
