Prince Caelan was enjoying a night out watching Drayce chat up anyone who'd listen as his bodyguard. Caelan was introverted as far as freinds and his social life. Caelan 23 years was Royalty and answered the Rayne his personal assistant and mother.
Book one in the Goodstone Series
An adventure to Caspgear of to help the country's against war going into their lands. Caelan, Rayne and Eno and Drayce for safety.
This lost me a bit with all the wearied names of provances/countries.
Emo was the bodyguard and had a fun personality especiallywith the ladies.
Rayne was the serious out of them as he suspected something not right with the mission away.
Drayce had a great connection with Caelan and ex school freind and joker and secret love. It soon becomes interesting when the four's thoughts become clear romantically with a smallest interest.
4 pov's included included. Ending with a cliffhanger.

Needless to say, there is a bunch of friends who are our hero's and they go on a quest (sort of) and bad things and good things happen.
Kale Williams is the narrator and gives a fantastic performance.
My first exposure to a Romantasy. I loved it!!!
