About this listen

As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: Assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.

Juno mourned Starkiller as dead...but now he is back, purged of all memories and programmed to kill. And as fate brings Juno and Starkiller closer to reuniting, with Darth Vader determined not to lose his assassin a second time, they will both have to make a stand. The prize is freedom. The punishment for failing will be eternal enslavement to the dark side of the Force...

Enjoyed the first installment, though this one was good, did what all good star wars novels do
. Keep lifting the stakes higher, the stakes in this one being Juno, she is. good character for me the ending was a good not satisfying.

The usual twist and climax were there but didn't feel like the payoff was well executed. Let's be honest I really wanted another book after this that goes on about Star Killer journey with the republic after that.
I would say my satisfaction or lack there of was more based on the fact we won't know more about this time line. which I suppose any good story should leave a person wanting more. this story seemed to have done that for me

Star killer fan

Great book, classic Star Wars, Starkiller needs to become cannon and make a trilogy, up there with Bane.

Great book

Overall a pretty enjoyable story. Ending was a bit unbelievable though. Didn’t feel like I needed to listen to the first volume/story to keep up to date and found it much more enjoyable/easier to follow than the first one. But this story did jump around to different places, which guess is easier to when you are in space but I did find it a bit distracting.

Enjoyed it more than the first one

After hearing people rave about the games, and enjoying the first audiobook, I wasn’t prepared for this to be an overblown love story. Found it hard to pay attention and lost interest when every Starkiller chapter was him pining for Juno and vice versa for the chapters featuring Juno.

Surely the game isn’t this boring
