About this listen

Shadows of the Empire illuminates the shadowy outlines of a criminal conspiracy that exists in the background of the events in the movies, ruled by a character new to us. Prince Xizor is a mastermind of evil who dares to oppose one of the best-known fictional villains of all time: Darth Vader. The story involves all the featured Star Wars movie characters, plus Emperor Palpatine and, of course, Lord Vader himself.

Johnathan Davis is good but I think Marc Thompson needs to voice over all his work, especially the prequel trilogy books that were read by Davis, I was excited to see this book done in audio form as this was the first star wars book I ever read, that got me hooked on reading star wars novels, I can't wait to listen to more of marc Thompson, if anyone is interested, try out the icurus saga books, written by Timothy Zahn and voiced by Marc Thompson

Loved the story and the voice actor is great, however his Chewy voice was like nails on a chalkboard for me. Not sure if that is any issue for anyone else. Otherwise it's great!

Great story, one complaint about VO
