Great in-depth word building and surprises!

Bingeworthy series with in-depth lore, lighthearted shenanigans and dark realities. Also, author is somehow getting these out so fast. Bring on seventh realm part 1 audiobook!

fool me once

I love this series of books was looking forward to all ten realms after the first 2 books. I found the narrator's voice on Rug Rat hard to deal with for the first book and all other characters where spot on good by the end of the 2nd book Rug Rats voice was set and couldn't imagine it differently. Then book 3 the narrator seemed more like an AI voice lacking depth just a flat performance. This book was as bad maybe worse and has ruined the audiobooks set for me. I would pass on book 3 and 4.

Still a decent series with good prospects for more

Great narrator even after the change
He did well to keep the voices similar to original

This is a great series that has slowly gotten muddier overtime by spending to much time focused on other characters
While this book still feels like that
The series feels like the next book could start to remedy that

Good book tho defiantly worth a listen if youv "read" or read the others

Performance lacking

The first half of part 2 was probably the worst in the series so far. Most of it could be summed up as people explaining surface level concepts to each other. The performance is what really bothers me though, you can hear nearly every intake of breath by the narrator and his microphone makes the ‘s’ sound way too sharp. Male characters sound very similar and are hard to differentiate, females are even worse.

Long time fan of the series so I’ll keep listening but not taken in like I was with the first 4 books.
