About this listen

Devourer, Ravager. Titles of a forgotten enemy, a distant memory.

Now freshly reborn in stark reminders of burning flame and blood.

The Tenth Realm has been lost, and Akran’s hordes of devourers and ravagers have been loosed upon the lower realms, dealing the reclusive and powerful Imperium a serious blow.

It will take Alva, the Imperium, the sects, clans, nations, and city-states to band together as they did in times of old.

It’s time for everyone to put their war boots on and put their cultivation to use.

overall I enjoyed the story and as always Neil does a great job narrating. this is the series that got me into litrpgs. can't complain to much about it other then it felt rushed. the big bad at the end went down without much of a real fight.
I don't feel like I wasted a credit as I got a close to a story I've been following since getting I to audio books, but I feel I could have spent it on something that I'm currently invested in.
keen to see what they both do next!

happy for an ending.

Great series, I binged it hard. Never been into army things but this was just perfect. Characters are great, it's a shame I won't hear anything more about them. Hard to believe it's over, felt like there was always another one to move onto

As one of the first of this genre I started listening to I was really excited to get to this last book. It was good and rounded off nicely, but a little underwhelming. I found myself drifting away from listening a couple of times, usually during the combat stages, that’s me though as I’ve loved all the crafting in the series! I’ll be looking for new material from the author when it’s available ;)

An awesome series

the author felt like they lost interest.
it was nice that the story archs got finished.
but everything was so short no flesh to it.

turned something good into shit

Couldn't have made it shorter if he tried, shame a good series ends so badly.

Rushed

Thankfully that author closed all the plot lines on what was an epic story as they had clearly run out of ideas and interest in the story. The last book is still a rollicking story but feels like the bare bones of the plotline.

Books were great to the sixth realm, seventh was good. I await more Builder's Legacy.

A short fairytale ending.
