“I am a brain, Watson. The rest of me is a mere appendix.”

Stephen Fry‘s performance was exceptional, as was his personal opinions of Conan Doyle‘s writing. He is obviously a fan, and it shows.
The stories, of course, I very much enjoyed. The bite-sized short stories were wonderful, but I really appreciated the longer novels.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my immersion in Holmes and Watson, and can’t recommend this work highly enough.

Holmes and Fry a perfect marriage

Fry has brought new life into the classic tales of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.
I loved listening to the stories I knew well and hearing others for the first time.
Fry's performance would win over even the less enthusiastic Holmes' fan.
I had to give four stars over five due to some of the poorer edited parts, particularly in Part 1 of this audio collection, where some words and sentences were cut off. I hope there is a way to mend this in some way because there were times I struggled to happily listen along.

Absolutely Perfect.
Conan Doyles words read through the many voices of Stephen Fry is just a perfect mix. Sad that I finished it too quickly.
