Ghosts, Memories, and Mystery
A fun mystery and ghost story. This story has a few flashbacks, which our main character witnesses, in her dreams. She wakes up after having dreams of people from a former life, and it's the same people who connect with her current project, renovating the Seven Sisters home. This book is fast-paced and a lot of fun, but--beware, it ends in a cliffhanger that makes you beg for more.

Not really a series
Narrator was excellent. The story is not like a normal series with endings at each book but more like one long book. I am not a fan of that style.

Irritating Narration
I love ML Bullocks books. I have both read and listened to her stories. I can't put her books down. This is the most irritating narration. The voice makes me cringe. Read this book rather than listen....

Good start to a series.
Characters are well formed and I liked them, well where they’re supposed to be. Area research is accurate. Emily does a decent southern accent and is easy to understand.

Enjoyable
Although it took me a little while to get into this story in within a few chapters I completely go into it. The surprise of the southern accent almost put me off to start with, but really added to the story once I got used to it. The story was great and the end left me wanting more.

Great book
I was given a free copy of this book . This is exactly the sort of book I love . I like dual stories, especially time slip ideas . This was a good take on that , seeing the past through dreams. Very atmospheric , great descriptions , and well rounded characters . I plan to get the other books in the series as I really enjoyed this one .

Good start
Although I have the Kindle books, I haven't read them yet due to having a very long 'to be read' list. However, I got this audio book and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. Carrie Jo dreams of ghosts. She takes on a job to supervise the restoration of the Seven Sisters House in Mobile. While there, she dreams of the occupants of the house from the 1850's and as work continues on the house, she finds out more about it's history and that of the people that lived there. I really enjoyed this audio book and the narration was pleasant to listen to, Off the read the next books in the series.
