Not at all your typical weight loss manual !

Excellent listen. Not at all your typical weight loss manual as it goes penetratingly deep into the psyche of the average person such as myself who turns to food on an almost automatic basis to deal with the stresses of life. Offers much theory and many practical strategies of implementing them as difficult as it is highly recommended.

Don’t deprive yourself, everything in moderation!

I found this when I was searching the web for help or suggestions. Almost every self-help website or book has the same message - love yourself, don’t deprive yourself, everything in moderation, etc. I hope that helps you, and if so, great. But, if you are listening to this like I was, then, well, you know.

I have been controlled by food since I was four,

I have been controlled by food since I was four years old when I learned to please my mother by eating her cooking. Southern women get pleasure from people enjoying their cooking. Unfortunately, I learned to substitute food for love and acceptance. I have struggled all my long life to get a handle on my binge eating. After listening to almost every book on the subject, I wasn't in any better condition.

I found this book oddly helpful,

I found this book oddly helpful, despite the unusual writing style. It was a different way of looking at binge eating that just stuck with me for whatever reason. My husband listened to the audiobook and he also found it helpful. I have the Kindle version on my phone and I periodically listen to the first few chapters again. It's short and worth a try if you're struggling.

I highly recommend this book. I’m a driven person but have struggled with overeating on...healthy foods for 20-years! I don’t eat crap, I work out, I don’t buy sugar. I just can’t stop eating when dinner is over.

It takes a radically different approach!!

I love this book! It takes a radically different approach from anything I have ever listen to trying to stop THE PIG. I have a feeling I will be returning to the book a lot for very clear and concise reminders. If you struggle with binge eating, and can't get it "controlled," I recommend you consider listening to this. Be forewarned: there is nothing gentle about this book, or this process. It's just the kick in the butt I needed, and I think it just might save my life.

Insanity is doing the same things over and over!!

Never Binge Again is a needed book in a world full of people that too often need the discipline to overcome issues that plague them. Too many of us view "change" much like the definition of insanity: "Insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting the results to change."

This book came to my attention quite by accident.

This book came to my attention quite by accident. It was mentioned in one of the Facebook groups I follow. I have struggled my whole life with food and my weight. It was so puzzling to me. I am an intelligent and determined woman. I have been successful in many areas of my life. But I have ever been at the mercy of my appetite and cravings. At times I wondered if I was crazy. I knew what foods worked well with my body, but I seemed incapable of sticking to my food plan.

I'm glad I found this book.

I have tried to get off sugar numerous times with no success. I'm very addicted to it. I'm glad I found this book. It's the piece I have been missing all these years...how to master the "mental" part of dieting. I'll try to come back to this review in a few months to update on my progress on weight loss.

This book has given me a new perspective!!

This book has given me a new perspective that I am desperately trying to adopt. I know how to eat right, exercise properly but I get stressed and let my pig take over. I never understood and now I did. Writing my Nevers and Always was very hard, my PIG yelled at me the whole way and even today my PIG says don't look at that list. I fight it every day but now at least I know what I am fighting. Hopefully, this will help me finally accomplish my goals.

I was glad to the point that I chose to read this book. On the off chance that you've at any point asked why you've fizzled at weight control recipes before this book has every one of the appropriate responses. It will give you a very surprising point of view on food and sustenance yearnings. As somebody who has consistently battled with weight issues, this book has completely changed me! I exceptionally suggest it.

Incredibly informative book

Binge eating is an easy-to-listen, but incredibly informative book. I love that it outlines concrete steps for struggling binge eaters to take. These steps helped me to stop feeling helpless and gave me hope that I could change. I now have more insight into my destructive eating habits and better ways to prevent them. I love that it is written by someone who overcame binge eating and truly understands the challenges faced by binge eaters.

Overeating is common and many of us

You may have spent hours searching online binge eating or compulsive solution and you are still trying to understand this complex condition. Overeating is common and many of us go through periods when we eat too much, but it only becomes a problem if we eat to help us cope with underlying emotional problems or stress. In the beginning, the food is calming, but regular bringing may indicate that you have an eating disorder.

I started using it

This book was the gateway book for me to real weight loss and health. I had this book for over a year before I started using it. At first, I just did one or two of the exercises because I couldn't sleep. Then I kept doing a couple more each day. Not all of the exercises are going to "crack your head open" and give you new insights, but you'll probably have at least one or two before you are even twenty exercises into the book. Thanks, Author.

It's easy to understand and not preachy

I love this book. I have had it a few weeks now and am working on it almost daily. For the first time in many years--this week I lost weight. It's easy to understand and not preachy. Simple and to the point. I especially benefited from understanding the difference between overeating and binge eating. Different approaches seem to work. I have only binged once since I got it and limited it to cheese and apples instead of pancakes and chocolate cake. It will help me save my life
