When the second years nearly lose their lives in a failed excursion, it's the first years that pay the price. The curriculum is being radically altered to challenge the students, which means the stakes just got a lot higher.

As with the first, the author does a great job of making us see things from Sals pov and making us believe he’s right and others are wrong only to hear their opinion, making us second guess. Some good movement later toward filed work and not just stuck in the crafting room. The ladies still seem to like old Sal…
