About this listen
The first semester is ending. It's time to take on the Tower!
The excursion was a mess. Sal's trust in his team is at rock bottom from the actions of another in the final fight. He now needs to enter the Tower and fight demons with the same person who betrayed him.
As if that wasn't enough, he's pretty sure the former Super-Rookie and wonder kid on his team is actually a ticking time bomb, just waiting to explode.
Faced with the accusation that he's squandering his power, Sal is forced to question what type of Hero he wants to become. He's already pushing the limits of Mythcrafting, but if he's to really live up to his potential, it's time for him to focus on the ability he was born with: Skill Master.
The first semester is coming to an end, and the race to become a part of the Saviour class is on. With only a short amount of time to prepare for the Tower, Sal will need as much help as he can get to have a chance of success.
It's time for Sal to start creating a whole new weave...
Narrated in duet style.
©2023 The Legion Publishers Ltd. (P)2025 Podium Audiothe only things i disliked was the amount of time spent on the weave. yes it establishes the amount of work he is doing to prove himself, but it got boring. you can skip most and just rewind a little to listen to what he achieved and not loose anything.
possible spoiler below
the other is a little harder to explain.. i think its that nothing really goes wrong thats not fixed within the next chapter or has little impact, the issues with the team fixed with the locket. they could have had sals power mess up or a portal/ anything that would isolate the team or have the mind control/ all powers stop working forcing them to work together. this would also put more doubts if the man team mate is good or bad and if he shouldbe helped (but im no writer and this isn't my story, will listen to the next book
good like the first 2

First of all, the stakes in Saviors are higher than ever. The plot takes unexpected turns, and just when you think you know where it’s going, Nordon pulls you in a new direction. The characters are pushed to their limits—struggling with their powers, personal challenges, and the weight of their destinies. What I love the most is how real these characters feel. You can tell that Nordon has really fleshed them out, giving them depth and development that’s both authentic and compelling. Each of them has grown so much since the first book, and it’s amazing to watch their transformations unfold.
The action is intense, and the emotional beats are just as powerful. Saviors hits hard with its emotional moments, whether it’s the bond between the main characters, their struggles with their inner demons, or the looming danger they face. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions that leaves you breathless.
Now, let’s talk about the narration. Daniel Wisniewski and Rebecca Woods absolutely nail it. Daniel’s performance brings a raw energy and intensity to the story, capturing the urgency and action of the plot. His tone shifts seamlessly between moments of tension and those of deep emotional resonance, making every scene feel alive. Rebecca Woods complements him perfectly with her clear, expressive voice. She has this wonderful ability to embody each character with distinct, captivating voices, giving each one a unique personality that makes the audiobook experience even more immersive.
Together, Wisniewski and Woods make an incredible team, and their narration truly elevates Nordon’s fantastic writing. The way they balance the fast-paced action with the quieter, introspective moments is flawless. It’s not just a story you’re hearing—it’s an experience that wraps around you, pulling you into this world.
By the time you reach the end of Saviors, you’ll be on the edge of your seat, desperate for the next installment. The cliffhanger is killer, and there are so many questions left unanswered, but in the best possible way. Brian J. Nordon has set the stage for something even bigger, and I can’t wait to see where this series goes next.
If you haven’t jumped into the Quest Academy series yet, this audiobook is the perfect place to start. With its heart-pounding plot, amazing character arcs, and the stellar narration by Daniel Wisniewski and Rebecca Woods, you’ll be hooked from beginning to end. Saviors is a must-listen, and I’m counting the days until the next chapter!
