About this listen

Sacred Stillness is a tapestry woven from the unique contributions of the many people from different faiths and wisdom traditions who are part of the Sanctuary. It offers a variety of practical, profound and creative meditation practices through a variety of themes and poems, with numerous ways to connect, and reconnect, with stillness, away from our always-on world of constant distraction.

Sacred Stillness offers a pathway into stillness where sanctuary can be found.

Sister Stan Kennedy is a member of the congregation of the Religious Sisters of Charity and a well-known social campaigner and bestselling author. She founded a number of voluntary organisations, such as Focus Ireland and Young Social Innovators. She also founded The Sanctuary to provide a reflective space for people in our frantic, busy world.

Síle Wall has been involved in the development of the Sanctuary since it was founded in 1998. She has been practising meditation for many years and at the Sanctuary she teaches and leads workshops, courses and practices on meditation and mindfulness.
