Must have reference book.

I really liked how the author gives a concise explanation of Scrum and how it is just one tool within the "Agile" methodology. I also appreciate the fact that he walks you through the core components "the must knows" of Scrum in the beginning of the book followed by more in depth textbook-like explanations of the tools and techniques. This makes the book an excellent reference when running a project.

Purpose, Passion and Practicality

The concepts are laid out in a straight forward, easy to understand manner that made a lot of sense to me. It certainly met my expectations of educating me on Scrum. I also liked that many of the concepts will be usable outside of Scrum. Lots of good project management insights. Well worth the read even if you're not in the IT world.

Great Scrum Book

Good, concise book on implementing Scrum with a lot of discussion on areas that make you think about wider areas of the big picture instead of just team organization and sprint execution. Lots of resources provided. This book will help immensely getting Scrum started in my organization.

Essential Scrum

This is an essential book for Agile teams and Agile Transformations. Perhaps the only book that covers advanced topics like Agile Portfolio Management. I would recommend renaming the book to be "Essential Agile" not just Essential Scrum. Simply Awesome !!

This is one of the best books on scrum

This is one of the best books I've listened on scrum, and the process flows, are some of the best I've seen. I require all my new ScrumMasters to at least listen the most critical chapters and the glossary, and keep as a reference.

This is the best book for SCRUM. Not only does it give clear explanations, but it provides good examples and an index to look up specific topics. More like a textbook, which is just what I wanted.
