ترفع "عالية" رأسها إلى العمائر العالية المجاورة...وسرعان ما تصرخ عاليًا وقد جمدت مكانها، تصيح أروى في خوف...وهي تنظر إليها...تسألها: ما بك يا عالية؟! ويلحق بهما الجالسون في الغرفة متسائلين، فترفع يدها مشيرة إلى نافذة بالطابق العلوي من المبنى المجاور..ويصيح عامر في دهشة وجزع :
ما هذا...جريمة قتل!!
