Orcs, an ancient fiend thought lost to history, have risen from The Under Realm. Their hunger for total dominance has plunged Illian into war, pushing the survivors to Namdhor, the last refuge of man at the top of the world. Story
The scales have tipped. The battle for Namdhor, the north, and the entire realm of man was a sure victory for the orcs. But they lost. Now, under the rule of a would-be-king, the armies of man fuel the war when they should be bolstering their defenses. Only a few understand that time is against them, yet these few must fight alone if the dawn is to rise over Illian once more. The heroes of the realm have banded together, but they cannot fight side by side. There is only one way they can win, seen by the oldest dragon and preserved inside the broken mind of a ranger.

Story
Mankind has lorded over the land of Illian for a thousand years, building on the ruins left by the elves, as if it were their birthright. A thousand years is a long time for an immortal race to see the truth of things, a truth that has remained unsaid for a millennium - elves are superior. They are faster, stronger, and connected to the magical realm in a way that man could never grasp. Illian should belong to them.

The Echoes of Fate Have Been Heard. After a Thousand Years, the Prophecy Has Almost Come to Pass....
The final days of hope have come and gone. The kingdoms of Illian stand on the edge of ruin, threatened by the armies of Valanis. As evil spreads across the land, too few are left to hold the line.
A world away, the children of fire and flame may be the only hope for the realm, but the dragons have been defeated before. Now Verda's future hangs in the balance.
Reeling from their losses, Asher and his companions journey north, trying to outrun the savage Darkakin. A confrontation awaits the ranger but, even with Paldora's gem, he dare not challenge Valanis yet.
The days of the Dragorn have come again, and with them, a relic of the gods has been brought into the light. The knowledge of Verda's true history weighs on Gideon Thorn, and he would see the world rid of the evil that has cursed it from the shadows for so long.
A great change is coming, and a new Age dawns on the horizon. Whether it be the light or the dark that finds victory, one soul will suffer the burden of destiny for all....

Worst fight scene ever!!!!
Aladire and Asher over Nathaniel/💎. Aladire grabs the silver rune sword by the blade, one handed and stops it from penetrating further. (explaination) He had incredible strength. This isn't Rob Roy here this is the super awesome dwarven runw blade that you have been touting throughout the series. Take a physics class, strength = his fingers coming off his hand that much sooner. Then, two senrences after getting half his foot cut off Aladire does an awesome side step maneuver????? This is not the fight scene of a truly acomplished fighter, this is the fight scene of an author who tried to mail it in. If your character is so bad ass then write him so badass don't insult your readers intelligence.

This story was a tale fit for the ages.
What a tale, fit for the ages. A hero's journey, true love, friendship that will last of all time. What a wild ride of the emotions your minds eyes see. The battle of the ages, dragons, magics never seen before. A pull of the hearts stings, with deep sadness, and the love of all time.

Very Enjoyable....
Easy to get lost in and I was sad it ended...You could honestly say it had every thing . I did see a previous negative comment about the narrator and I'm a massive fan of Steven Brand and the only negative thing I have to say is I think Podium publishing let the side down and used the B team to do the edit the work... on rare occasions the voice inflection didn't follow on ,neither author or narrators fault. STILL 5 STARS though.
