Publisher's Summary

Nothing except the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a greater miracle or wonder in human history. God becoming flesh in human history is the greatest marvel. Jesus of Nazareth was foretold in the Torah and the Prophets centuries before his appearance, and he was proved to be real and not a pretender due to his death and Resurrection. The early church grappled with all of this intellectually. Many heresies were confronted, answered, and dismissed. Throughout the 2,000-plus years of church history, many of the early church heresies have reappeared over and over again. Whether you are Catholic or Protestant, the answers are from the Word of God.

Excellent!!!

Apologetics at it's finest, gave new clarification on the Triune God and the living Word of God as 100% Man and 100% God. His need to die the death He did and the process of the journey to save His creation in union to Himself.

Realistic Read Aloud

I truly enjoyed the reading of this book. The narrator read it in real time, with punctuation and everything. The pace was excellent. Gave the opportunity for me think and absorb everything that was being read. Awesome job, keep up the Good work. Angela P.

Well executed reading of a profound text

St. Athanasius is the theological mind behind the First Ecumenical Council at Nice in 325. This text presents a profound and Orthodox Christology and is well worth listening to for every believer. St. Athanasius explains just how Christ destroyed death by death.

Modern thinking in an ancient book

A beautiful book, delightfully read. Agnostics should read it to hear the irrefutable arguments. Christians should read it for encouragement and reaffirmation.

Very worthwhile

Easy to get through and well read. Remarkable how the 4th century writer provides an explanation of the fundamentals of Christianity that sounds like it could have been written today.
