I really enjoy this series but it has been getting bogged down in the constant fighting. I enjoy reading a good fight but it gets repetitive and boring when overly done. And I was almost done with this series until I listened to this one. Now I’m excited again!
This book strikes a good balance between story and fighting. Also I believe everyone has been waiting for Max to finally start rocking up in abilities, which is what we get here.
Looking forward to the next one!!!
