كان وجه لوزة مصفرًا وفي عينيها علامات الذعر الشديد وهي تلتفت حولها كأنَّ الجدار سوف ينشق ويخرج منه شبحٌ أو عفريت..هدّأها عاطف وطمأنها وطلب منها أن تروي له ما حدث، بدأت لوزة تسترد أنفاسها تدريجيًا ثمَّ اخذت تقول:

خرجت منذ ساعتين ومعي الكاميرا التي أهداها إليّ عمي في عيد ميلادي، اشتريت فيلمين وطلبت من صاحب محل التصوير وضع أحدهما في الكاميرا وأخذت أتجول في المعادي قليلًا، التقط الصور.

وصلت إلى الكورنيش، وكان هناك قارب صغير له شراع أبيض يرسو عند مرسى المراكب، أعجبني منظره فاقتربت وأخذت أضبط الكاميرا وعندما ضغطت على زر التصوير رأيت رجلين يتجهان نحوي في ذعرٍ وغضب ويريدان البطش بي..

كان أحدهما قبيح المنظر يشبه الغوريلا...ضخمًا كأنّه شجرة..قاسي النظرات كأنّه ذئب وهجم علي يريد انتزاع الكاميرا مني وعندما ركضت هربًا لحقاني حتى وصلت إلى هنا !!

يقرّر المغامرون الخمسة البحث عن الرجلين ومعرفة سرّهما خاصةً بعد ان اكتشفوا تتبعهم ل"لوزة" طوال الوقت

فماذا التقطت لوزة بكاميرتها؟ وكيف سيحل المغامرون الخمسة لغز "القرد" أخطر رئيس عصابة ظهر في البلاد؟ وما علاقته بتلك الصورة؟
