This was my first Brandon Sanderson book, of which I enjoyed and look forward to listening to another one soon. A bit of a slow start, but once into it, it traveled at a good pace, and was keen to see what will happen to Vin next.
I loved the sound of the narrator's voice (almost soothing),Michael Kramer, and will hunt out more of his narrating.

I can see why people love Sanderson so much, he is a wonderful story crafter. I wish Vin was not quite so annoying.

Story is fantastic! easy to follow but with enough depth to not get bored. Narrator's voice was irritating to start off with but I quickly got used to it! very expressive and played the different roles clearly.

This book is fantastic! Brandon Sanderson is a master of his art. The characters are detailed and relatable, the world is vivid and vast. This is a very enjoyable listen. Only made more enjoyable by Micheal Kramer’s deep and engaging voice.

This is fantasy at its best

This was admittedly my first fantasy book and i was a bit hesitant as they seem to go heavy on the fantasy and light on the world and characters but this book is the exact opposite, it manages to uphold the fine balance between good world building while also maintaining and awesome air right the way through. If it were paper i would not be able to put it down. I was intrigued from the get go, the absolute monolith of a series that i saw coming, i hoped as soon as i bought it that it was good, and oh boy was i right, i have now bought the entire series and absolutely love it. It is a story full of twists and turns, some more predictable and some absolute brain oglers.
