not entertaining.

I like my fantasy free of IRL bs like culture war politics and complaining about about it both are annoying and I return that non entertaining crap, the author failed to keep the politics out of the story with about 4 chapters of wasted space full of far left nonsense that ruins fantasy. The narrators are consistent and do a great job has always but the material they had to work with was boring and uninteresting.

started out good

Wanted to like it. It fell in a weird spot where it tried to be more than it was. lots of talking back and forth to the point you realize you lost interest. star of book felt right but by the first quarter it gets boring and never recovers. Narrators are 5 stars though.

good

so excellent narration and interesting story but we don't get much action is more like a slice of life with some combat to make it fun also the rpg elements are pretty much useless and it takes over half of the book for the mc to finally show up at the Maze and he there for a very short time and doesn't return until pretty much the end of the book

Greatness Achieved

I really think this is a great beginning to a series. I love Harem LitRPG, like a lot. I also appreciate that this wasn't over sexualized, staying the perfect amount to be considered as fan service and appreciated without getting to the level of completely unrealistic situation erotica.

awful

The story is confusing and after stating one thing almost immediately contradicts and changes, flimsy. Dear God one other thing that is suffering is the chewing and speaking at the same time. If any future writers read this have your characters swallow before speaking.

Huge potential but ruined by a lawful stupid MC.

Huge potential but ruined by a lawful stupid MC. MC has potential to be a good character but his constant morale mess ups make him fall into the unfortunate paladin category.

Fun and entertaining!

Good story and narration! Dean lives on a fishing planet, and enjoys spending his Summers catching the dangerous and monstrous creatures of the deep. That all changes when he gains lightning magic and is introduced to the battle that rages behind the scenes between light and dark. Now he must journey to the minotaur's maze to fight for the future of his world! Daniel and Rebecca do a great job with the narration! I'm looking forward to see where the story goes from here! I really enjoyed this one!

jury is out

I thought the story was good but slow. narrators did a good job. this story had a likeable but underpowered MC . the story has gods and every fantasy race possible. I am curious how a strong average human his best friend and 2 ex girlfriends can compete in a game of gods. in the book he went from level zero( yes they start at zero) all the way up to level zero ( yes his level never changed. gods demi gods and and everyone seems to know the MC is blessed. I can only assume that in book 10 or 15 he will actually use this power or make it to level 1. with the good story start and good narration I may risk book 2

Three strikes and your out. Author dropped!

I like the Gryffin story until book 3, until it got too exaggeretef. Strikes one. Checked out Cyber Viking (i knew from the title that story would suck, but tries for the characters and harem), MC is a piece of shit. DNF. Strike 2. And this book?!?! It had an 3 hour fishing story fishing arc. Oh yeah, and it covered by a reality show element aswell - Jesus! Almost guit, but the start of likeable dragon girl and what happened to her cry for a hero had waiting and waiting. After 9 hour the MC has the first real conversation. At this point i don't care anymore and quit as other random events continue. Like Cyber Viking the MC is a macho type, womanizing, that acts like and idiot but everything just works out. Before he went to the alternative world, he find a ex girl Who he gets pregnenet and descides to marry. Great start before he even starts a harem. Piece of shit! Everything is so exaggereted, all character lecherous cheater including all girls and even his friend. And yes the friends are with him all the time. The friends and everyone accept that the MC meet a god right away, they now wanna join the battle the first day he metions it. Everything is so annoying with this book. Even the narrator, which i usually like sounds like a pompous bratty old vampire. I hate this book. Strike 3. You out!

Poor pace and 90% introduction

Currently at about 6 hours and still in the introduction we have been introduce to about 2 actual characters the others are just filler. The paceing is honestly horrendous nothing has happened and I am very bored.
