Story
As Mason strengthens his magic over metal and stone, the Master lurks in the shadows. To lure the Master out and stop his nefarious plot, Mason and his harem of mages and princesses have to do several things: take over the Order of Mages; build a railroad system to connect the kingdoms of Illaria and Cedis; and keep from getting burned by giant, murderous creatures made of flame. Sounds like a piece of cake, right?

I’m rally starting to dislike the dark mage
They should just kill the dark mage, I’m really starting to get annoyed, instead of curious or intrigued, i know she is supposed to be a mystery but, they should have killed her two times over from all the stuff she has done, she should be dead, I really do not like her at all

Starting to turn back on the right path
The last few books have been disappointing in my opinion, but this one was a bit better, and it seems we can finally leave the elves and their shit behind. I now understand why people in the first book called the elves savages, because they are....
And as always, Christopher and Jessica do not disappoint.

I’m reinvested
The way that the plot flows is great. It works real well. And the narration is on point as always. One thing I’m very glad for is the fact the author limited the mentioning of the Nalnoran Law. Honestly the very thought and mention of it in the last few books simply vexed and infuriated me to no end. It almost made me drop this series and try my hand at another of his great books. But now I’m back in it till 15.

Egotistical mc
The mc is very egotistical, even though it was the goddess who cave him the power he has. You start hoping he gets a wake up call soon.
And I have no idea why a girl would put up with his shit never mind 3 of them.

Pretty good story
There are a few things about the story that made me have to take a break from listening to it instead of binging right through it. The biggest thing is the MC CONSTANTLY cusses. I can see if a character curses in a high tense situation but the MC in this series can’t speak a sentence without a saying F*** or S***. It takes away from the story.

unbelivable
The enemy water mage is just to unbelievable, She has a few runes tattooed on her so she is a fucking God capable of boiling rivers and oceans with water magic alone???? I am sorry but I have never known water elemental magic being capable of utilizing heat to produce steam or boiling water. I am sorry but I can not understand how tattooing a few runes onto a water witch makes her an insane indestructible God???

Dragons and skinning alive?
The dragon scenes brought uncontrollable smiles to my face. The owls becoming guards was a nice twist. But the removal of the rune by cutting it off the skin made me cringe in sympathetic pain. All around, another great story. Keep it up
