Story
As Mason strengthens his magic over metal and stone, the Master lurks in the shadows. To lure the Master out and stop his nefarious plot, Mason and his harem of mages and princesses have to do several things: take over the Order of Mages; build a railroad system to connect the kingdoms of Illaria and Cedis; and keep from getting burned by giant, murderous creatures made of flame. Sounds like a piece of cake, right?

Publisher's Summary
As always, Mason has his hands full protecting several kingdoms, but at least he’s finally getting some reward for all his hard work.
Now that he’s a baron, Mason has to figure out what to do with all his new land, his new riches, and his new mansion.
But life is not all rich baron sex and giant statues made of precious gemstones.
The Master’s fortress looms in the eastern foothills, and his possessed mages aren’t the only things roaming Illaria’s countryside now.
So, it’s a good thing Mason has his own personal battle dragon and a fleet of deadly metal automatons at his disposal.

Sucks
The mc is an ass. Eric Vall should be ashamed for weighting this mc. All ego and sex, no wonder his apprentice turned into a dick, just like his master. I am hoping one of the mc’s girls kill him. Aruba is my vote. Is it wrong to cheer for the bad guy.

Are you serious!?
You don't trust someone and are incredibly pissed at that person because her actions caused the death of some your allies AT YOUR HAND! But suddenly, after one BJ, you are completely over everything, even though all your distrust was more then justified. You don't for a second think she is playing you? Where the hell did THAT trust come from? Hopefully the Master doesn't just **** Mason off, he will turn to his side so fast it'll make your head spin. I'm not expecting any serious character depth in the harem lit genre but give me a damn break! Also, Mason is king of the simps. He caves pretty much instantly whenever one of his women asks something of him or does something royally moronic. I'm done with this series.

Not as good as previous books
All the other books had just the right amount of sex etc but in this book I think he used way too many sex scenes to fill in for a weak storyline. I will definitely read all the books but I hope they improve to the previous levels of quality.

Another exciting addition
Have to get this out-of-the-way first. This installment took way too long to get released! That being said, this book picks up right after the last one ended. Now before you say something along lines of “isn’t that how the next book in the series is supposed to start?“, The answer is yes. However, this book takes place the very next morning that book 9 ended! So, there is no lull in the action. In point of fact, the book starts with a potential catastrophe. Won’t go into anymore details because of spoilers, but suffice to say this latest installment is a roller coaster ride and it’s a ride that is definitely worth it!
