A must read!
Thought provoking and eye opening. Enjoyed this book from beginning to end. This begs us to ask what are we doing to ourselves and the food company giants should be held accountable for targeting our young people with their sugary, salty, highly processed foods.

Fascinating
Johann has written a compelling piece about the use of diet drugs - their effects not only on the physical changes in the body, but the psychological changes/issues that arise with taking away the desire to eat, and the way the economy has already been affected.

The balance between the positives and negatives of this drug
Johann Hari never disappoints! His topics are highly relevant, well researched and clearly presented in books that are enjoyable to read/listen to and Magic Pill is no exception. Really enjoyed learning about the history and potential effects of this new medication regime, Thankyou!

Balanced
A balanced and well researched explanation of the new weight loss drugs Ozempic, Mounjaro etc. As someone on a clinical trial I found it interesting. I look forward to seeing where we go from here.

Have we really moved from obesity to health?
As much as I would like to believe there is a solution through drugs... I think the drive of greed will be the continuing story. Follow the money. This book does share opinions that are valid to consider.
