Narrator unsuitable

As a woman, I would prefer a female narrator. I found the sound of the narrators voice droll, though it’s hard to know whether he was speaking too slowly or whether he was limited by the storyline. Stopped listening during first chapter despite being a fan of novels set in similar time periods.
