Kommissare sind auch nur Menschen. Martin Kühn ist von seinem Privatleben in einer Münchener Neubausiedlung mitsamt entfremdetem Sohn und verführerischer Nachbarin bereits ausreichend belastet. Als ein Tötungsdelikt direkt vor seinem Gartenzaun plötzlich Privatsphäre und Arbeit durcheinanderwirbelt, sieht er die gewohnte Tristesse mit anderen Augen. Jan Weiler schenkt uns nach "Maria, ihm schmeckt's nicht" und "Das Pubertier" einen von Alltagsproblemen gebeutelten Ermittler, dessen Betrachtungen ein Schlaglicht auf die deutsche Reihenhausseele werfen.
