أمّا الفصل الثاني فيأتي بعنوان" تحرير المرأة...تحرير الوطن" وتتكلَّم عن الأمر الذي دافعت عنه على مدى الخمسين عامًا الماضية ألا وهو حقوق المرأة والمساواة بينها وبين الرَّجل.

وفي كل فصل من فصول هذا الكتاب تناقش السعداوي موضوعاً شائكاً تتحدث عنه بأسلوبها المميز.
