Die Birthler-Behörde aber informiert, er wäre nicht Opfer, sondern Täter. Es trifft ihn wie ein Schlag. Nie hatte er je mit "der Firma" zu tun gehabt. Seine Täterakte ist fast 100 Seiten lang und beginnt 1970. Da war er 15 und sein Vater gerade gestorben. Der Mann war Jugendspitzel. Es sind ganz andere Erinnerungen, als die des Mannes. Verkehrte Welt. Ein Nachbar hatte ihn ausgehorcht, abgeschöpft, benutzt. Fast vier Jahre lang. Der hilfsbereite Nachbar ging systematisch vor und psychologisch geschult. Aber das weiß der Mann erst jetzt, 40 Jahre später. Sechs Prozent aller IM's waren Kinder und Jugendliche und er einer von 15.000. Sie sollten zu vollwertigen Stasi-Mitarbeitern erzogen werden. Bei ihm kam es nicht so weit. Und doch: späte Scham.
