it was amazing but I didn't release it was the first book and listened to it last 🤣

Although it’s essentially not about anything bit a retell of a murder mystery party it’s a great intro to a group of characters I knew from reading the 3 main books in the series & weirdly kept me listening.

I loved this so much!! It really speaks to Pip as a character and how she ends up where she is by the end of the series. This is pips first taste of a flimsy murder plot framed by the police, and the first inkling of her skills as a detective. It pissed me off so much that she was wrong, but in the end she had to be - to spur her on to investigate sal and Andy. Also omg I thought Mr Ward was seeing Andy on the drive home and that was the lead up but it’s much too late in the timeline lol. I wanted to hear his reaction to Pip saying she was gonna investigate Andy lmao man would have crashed the car.

Didn’t add anything to the story. The readers already knew pip was a genius. Hardly included the original Andie bell plot line, and doesn’t tell us why she thinks sal sighn was innocent

This was just a really nice way to start the series, I listened to killjoy after I finished the other 3 and it was a really nice way for me to say goodbye to these characters
