Too many errors and unsubstantiated assertions.

The book has too many errors to be of much use. I was hoping it would offer substantiated advice re autophagy and breaking fasts, but that was just a hook. You will be healthier following this book than following most common diets, but you will get far more accurate advice by watching medical doctors giving presentations at conferences. Pheppel's Amazon review is quite accurate, and I caught other errors which meant I could not trust anything Hawthorn wrote. Audible needs to better curate their offerings if they want my continued custom!

The author has researched autophagy!

The author has researched autophagy and longevity extensively. It's a huge book full of references and intermixed with the author's own well reasoned extra insights and high-probability best-practice suggestions in the areas that still lack confrontational studies. Nice!

Lots of valuable information. I really enjoyed and benefited from this book. Lots of practical advice to help you on your intermittent fasting/diet journey. I am pretty confident I can now get to any weight I want.

unengaging, lacking in-depth scientific reference.
I'm not sure that reeling of a basic list of ingredients for a keto meal for a large section of this book is what people looking to learn and understand autophagy/ ketosis require.
