Great book!

This is a GREAT book. I never knew there was so much about breathing. I think everyone could benefit from this book. The author narrating this book was great to listen to too! He kept it entertaining & you could hear the passion in his voice. I started doing triathlons and controlled breathing is a big part of endurance athletes. I liked the book so much that I recommended​ it to my tri club. The breathing practices in this book help to relax you no matter what your doing.

breathing practices and life lessons

From the guy who advises Tony Robbins on breathwork. This is an extremely well written and captivating book. Mr. Brule takes the reader through various breathing techniques - little did I know that for every situation in life, there's a way to breathe to maintain composure. Not only does he walk you through of HOW to breathe but he also he says why it's important and key details to take away as far as mental discipline and how a positive mental shift, along with breathing, is essential to a successful life.

Very little instruction, too much personal history

For a book on breathing there is very little instructional information. This book is primarily an autobiography, reinforced with obvious and repeated “the world is is connected” insights that go on way too long forcing the reader to work hard to find the actual instructional information which flashes itself only for a few seconds before digging back into autobiographic insights. Said another way, this isn’t a cook book but a book about a chef you may not have heard of and what his philosophy on food. Consider an accompanying workbook so those who are looking to study and practice breathwork are not forced to listen in awe to a man talking about himself - or at least list this book as an autobiography so the reader is informed what’s ahead.

Excellent Book

Anything that Tony recommends is likely to be good. I was a bit worried for the first hour or so as the book seemed a bit slow, informal, and lacking in depth. However, it quickly got better and continued to do so through to the end of the book. Overall, this was a very enjoyable read.

Me a Master?

What made the experience of listening to Just Breathe the most enjoyable?

Dan Brule has written a dazzling, yet grounded breath work guide that will convince you that the skills and tools to master your own breath are yours to develop. Just read the book and do it. "Start your day, with breath work", he advises, "even before you have coffee. He has a passion and enthusiasm in his voice that makes you say, "Yes sir", and begin to comply. Brule's voice has the snap of a military man, the lift of spiritual devotee and the comfort of a breath angel. Get the book. He will motivate you to start conscious breathing now.

Breathe a better expression of life.

I am grateful for Dan doing this work. I could say I received more from this book than I expected, but I expected it, and it was delivered. What I learned and was reminded of was applied in the moment. I'm even breathing as I write this.

I love when authors read their work, it feels real, accents and all.

Thank you Dan for your service to all, in doing so, you have become the master.

Inspiring yet practical

I loved hearing the stories from Dan's own life and what inspired him to focus on breath work. Lots of practical applications for breath work in every day life.

Inspiring!

Purchased the audible version and tempted to get the book as it has great exercises and probably easier to leaf through to locate them. Thoroughly enjoyed and making an impact on me and my patients.

I returned

Not so much about breathing but more about a deep sea diver saying how wonderful he is . Not my cup of tea.

A brilliant excellent book

Gosh where can I start. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has really opened my mind to the endless possibilities for me to improve my life through the most normal and natural process of all - breathing!

When I first tried the 6 breaths per minute exercise I was surprised to feel the effects almost immediately. It is now a permanent part of my daily activity.

The author explains things in a very clear and concise way. This is very good for someone like me who is new to breath work. But yet it works for all levels of breath work enthusiates. I like the fact that the breath work doesn't require anything other than your commitment.

I am working on some of the other breathing techniques he discusses and I look forward to reaping the benefits of the exercises.

I would definitely recommend this book to all who breathe...

Excellent listening and brilliantly informative on all aspects of the breath.

I liked the covering of all aspects of the breath. I was was well informed. He saved the best till last! Maybe would be good to start with a conscious connected breath first! It is the mainstay. It will be added to the reading requirement for students at Inspirational Breathing. Thank you Dan.

This book is excellent.

If you are learning meditation then most importantly you need to learn how to breath. This book learns that with simplicity. Plus this book is really enjoyable too.
