it is slow at the start but it is the first book. So you the get the idea of the world the is get built with going in the book. I can see this get made into a movie/TV series or anime. I can’t white for the next books to come.

I enjoyed this book it was right up my alley. A bit of a slow burn at the start but it does pick up. Not a bad progression in terms of charcter development. the power system isn't too complicated so a bit straightforward. if you liked Iron Blooded or A soldier life I would recommend this book.
