a fantastic 2nd book to follow up the great 1st book. great continued narrative and furthering the plot; excited for book 3 and the continued story and excellent narration!

The ending of Ironbound left much to be desired, the story felt like three different plots stitched together with each part. Cold wind delivers a much more concise story and expands the world which Caster lives in significantly while also expanding Caster’s own character horizons without abandoning the motivations established in book one.

looking forward to the next one.hope we can have a less paranoid mc going into the next book. also hope the mc will finally get rid of "the empire is good" mentality and grow a bit.
