About this listen
Even though Eve can't quite see it that way, it's supposed to be at least partly a vacation. But work intrudes in the form of a bloody homicide, and Eve is off and running. The case is complicated by Eve's personal history with the victim - and by the killer's history with Roarke. As danger closes in and the body count rises, Eve must find a way to stop the cycle of violence and revenge, and shove the past back where it belongs.

I have also started buying the audible books and have listened to the audio book version as well.
The narrator is improving with the overall inflection, or I am getting more used to her narration style, and seems to be improving with separating the characters voices.
I can separate the voices of the main characters better.
BOOK REVIEW
Though a novella this still packs a punch and a good story.
Eve, Roarke and a few of the gang are on Olympus for a police conference that Eve will be giving a seminar for.
The sins of the father theme is well played.
Once again innocents are killed because of someone else’s unreasoning thinking due to mental illness
I just wished Skinner had lived longer to reflect and understand on what he had caused.
I started with the paperback editions many years ago and have since switched to the eBook editions for reading.
Read and reviewed previously but review is missing. No hardship to reread this series for the third or fourth time.
The narrator is improving.
