About this listen
But Lieutenant Eve Dallas, who's on the case, believes Reva is innocent. Eve's instincts tell her that the murder scene looks too perfectly staged, the apparent answers too obvious. And when she digs for more, she discovers that at nearly the exact time a kitchen knife was jammed into the victim's ribs, the passcode to his art studio was changed - and all of the data on his computer deliberately corrupted.
To Roarke, it's the computer attack that poses the real threat. Signs show that this is the nightmare his company has secretly been preparing for. He and Reva have been under a code-red government contract to develop a program that would shield against a new breed of hackers, the Doomsday Group. These techno-terrorists with brilliant minds and plenty of financial backing hack into systems, steal data, and corrupt computer units on a large scale - and kill anyone who gets too close.
Eve and Roarke must infiltrate an extraordinarily secretive government agency to expose the corruption at its core, before the virus spreads from one office to a corporation to the entire country.

Another solid and gripping story that kept me reading till the end once again.
Trouble hits close to home this time.
I loved learning more back story about Roarke’s admin Caro and the fact it is Caro’s daughter Reva who is in trouble just added to this for me.
Reva on her own is a totally solid character but when is written around the lie her life was, was brilliant on many fronts.
Eve and Roarke hit a major bump in their marriage. It puts a big degree of separation between them and the way it is written, you can see and understand both sides. I really loved how that all played out.
There are some great scenes in this story and good tense bit of action.
I have read all of these books twice already as I own most in paperback and am slowly collecting the kindle versions too.
I am rereading this series once more, updating and replacing missing reviews.

Would you consider the audio edition of Divided in Death to be better than the print version?
Have not read in print, have been enjoying the series for long car drives and the daily commute homeWhat did you like best about this story?
Loved the emotional difficulties Eve and Rourke had, good balance of their relationship, not just happy happy sex!Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Found this a bit odd, felt the voices were slightly different to previous, but got used to it.Can't get enough Eve, Rourke and crew
